They all left, all they youngsters. The old and the frail were left behind, and now he was the only one still alive. He wondered from time to time, what kind of fate befell those wide eyed idealists, who rushed to the west and over the mountains over some vagabond's-wondering salesman word. Nothing pleasant, they were all probably dead, killed and robed by the bandits that now roamed the roads and natural passes. He on the other hand was still persevering, even though his wind turbine was broken by one violent desert storm he still had his generator safely hidden inside the tin can that was his home. The only problem was the source of the fuel. After the ecological disaster, there was no more oil, at least no one supplied it anymore and so someone had devised and ingenious machine that would extract fuel from the new creatures that now inhabited the deserted territories. The amount he could extract from one of them hardly filled up one canister and did not last very long. Luckily however they were lured by the sounds of his machines, an ironic twist of fate since it was their blood fueling them.

This is an exercise in composting a CG character over real life. The following is a sequence of photographs to simulate time lapse footage with a CG character growing in the jar.
